This finale episode of News21’s four-part documentary series focuses on how flooding is reshaping life in rural America and small coastal towns. Unprecedented events are catching farmers and small towns unprepared. Communities built around the water are now losing their livelihood and history to it.

This PBS NewsHour segment features the stories of three families in Los Angeles and Phoenix who lost children to traffic crashes. The story emphasizes road design as a key element to pedestrian safety. Produced at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

“En la frontera de un nuevo futuro: jóvenes venezolanos en Perú”
This mini documentary, shot at the Peruvian-Ecuadorian border, explores how Venezuelan youth experience a mix of optimism and apprehension about starting their new lives in Peru. One NGO, World Vision Perú, is helping young people to acclimate through a Friendly Spaces program. Produced for the Cronkite Borderlands Project at Arizona State University. "Migration is Movement: Pittsburghers at the border wall”
A short video about a group of 53 people from Pittsburgh who traveled to the U.S.-Mexico border in Nov. 2018 to protest expansion of the border wall (among other things) with SOAWatch. Their journey took place before the beginning of the partial government shutdown from Dec. 22 - Jan. 25, now the longest in history. The shutdown was largely defined by elected officials' failure to come to an agreement about whether or not to expand the wall.
Featuring voices from Casa San José and May Day Marching Band.

A mini-documentary providing a glimpse into the life of a resident of Arcosanti, a highly unique living community located an hour north of Phoenix, Arizona.
